I was looking to buy the G50V ASUS and I was wondering how long would it take to get here. I'm moving out and I would like to get it before I leave. Is there a way to pay for overnight shipping??

Are we going to have to pay duties when it ships to Canada? Like how is the package labeled when it goes through customs?

if i purchase an asus g50 and it for whatever reason break within warrenty time, who do i have to go to get it fixed? Do i have to send it all the way back to america? Because I live in Scotland, and that option seems expensive as well as time consuming. Also I ask this because from what I've read, G50 isn't the most reliable laptop around.

Asus has a few nearby service centers near you. You definitely do not have to send back to the states however do not expect the same treatment we get here. Warranty service in america is better and faster by far then globally,.

Can you let me know how much shipping would be to Oxford, England?.

Your checkout page mentions not to enter a zip code into the shipping calculator, so I am not sure how much it will be.

There is also a banner offering $99 UPS expedited global shipping, but I can not seem to find the exact details as where to.

Many thanks.

Hi,

I registered an account with you, and have filled in my details in order to find out how much shipping is.

On my checkout, I have $99 shipping for orders over $1,000, as well as $120 for Western Europe, so can I assume that shipping to the UK for an order over $1,000 is currently $99?

Many Thanks.

Hi,

Please can you also let me know if I can use my AMEX card. It seems to allow it on your website, but your FAQs specifically mention Paypal and wire transfer only for international customers. I suppose I can always pay by paypal using my credit card, but would prefer to pay directly by credit card when shopping online.

Many thanks.

when you check out 99$ shipping is an option in the shipping dropdown. you can not use amex from the uk. you can use paypal with a confirmed address or wire transfer. in your case submit a wire so that you do not pay upfront. you can always convert to paypal later when these are ready to ship

Hi,

Thanks for the information. I have placed my order with the wire transfer option, as you suggested.

When the laptop comes in, please can you let me know, so that I can pay you via my PayPal account.

Many Thanks.

What is "Wire Transfer" exactly cause I plan on using that form of payment if I'm correct in thinking what it means.

Found the answer to my own question the hard way.

It means I'll waste $25 extra for nothing and pay a high CDN funds to USA funds conversion rate. (ended up being almost 4% higher than PayPal)

Hey, I'm planning on ordering an Asus G73Jh-A1 at the end of August. Most of my questions have been answered from other posts, but if I got this laptop from the states will I need to buy a 3 prong plug for the machine or will a simple adaptor be enough? And If I do need a UK plug, do you guys sell/provide them?

a simple inexpensive adapter you can buy locally will work. We do not sell them but you will have no problems finding one locally
