yes correct it looks like the 8 cell from g73. my obvious mistake

yeah it looks like they will keep the g73jw with the same shape and make the g53 look very similar so it is likely the battery for the g53 will be identical. Still do not expect more then 2.5 hours even out of the 8 cell.

definitely a typo. anything owned and operated by asus is either flat wrong or partially correct.

Any news on the g73jw, and what videocard it will be supporting. I'm hoping its not the same as the g53jw. I'm hoping for slightly better like the 470m or 480m.

Are you sure about the 2 Hard drives? Some sites are reporting only 1 x 500GB 7200 drive. If you want to have a second, you must replace the optical drive. Please confirm ^^

And are you sure 6.7Lbs is the right weigh ? Cause i would think it would be heavier for what its got in it and stuff but 6.7Lbs would be good =P
